First Community Meeting of 2025!

Join us at the end of the month! EPNI is putting on a community meeting and collective envisioning session in collaboration with the Shut Down Smith Coalition! EPNI will get folks up to speed with some project updates, introduce new members of our Outdoor Farm Team, and lay out a bunch of ways to plug into this community-owned endeavor.

Then, we’ll take some time to discuss the soon-to-be vacant Smith Foundry and Bituminous Roadways sites - what could the future hold for these industrial sites? Led by partners of the Shut Down Smith Coalition: EPIC, Little Earth Protectors, Círculo de Amigos, East Phillips Health Team, EPNI, CJC, MCEA, and TCDSA.

Woven throughout will be opportunities to reflect on the relationships between our communities and the land and to engage with EPNI staff and board members. Bring your questions, curiosities, and neighbors!

We’ll have free snacks and drinks to share and would love to see you there! Wednesday, January 29th, from 5-7 pm at the Little Earth Gymnasium (2501 Cedar Ave S., Minneapolis, MN).
